Income inequality is not meaningless just because there's a little narrowing in the gap. Living costs have far outstripped all those increases the lower and middle classes have gotten, and they're fed up with it.As for environmental regulation, it was already insufficient. Plus every time a Democratic president added regulations, a Republican president would roll them back, resulting in net zero progress at best. Greta Thunberg is merely giving voice to the frustration towards that lack of progress and is an example of why I said how extremists are getting more popular. |
