Sounds fine to me.The only way that permanent supreme court justices would work is through an excruciating vetting process, and not by left-wing politicians' whims. Thomas Jefferson grew very averse to justices appointed for life, calling their power "absolute" and saying that the Constitution becomes "a mere thing of wax in (their) hands . . . which they may twist and shape into any form they please" and history proved him right. |
