Let me ask you this and so far no-one has answered it - how does knowing this info at the right time be a perk? Even better, how does knowing this info b4 you are supposed to detract from the 'perk'? The way I see it is it doesn't because the real 'perk' is the ability to buy the tickets earlier than non-members. The leak of the info does not I repeat does not detract from that.

For me I have no reason to be a member of the NYTM, I get in free as an MTA employee.
