One of the privledges and perks that comes with my museum membership is that I get to find out about things before the general public, and I get to sign up for them before the general public. People on this board (and in life in general) are often craving to be the first to know something or to find out information no one else has. Same goes here. Tony also gave a good explanation. For the umpteenth time, why don't you ask the NYTM, which made the request that the info not be posted to the internet, instead of asking me?There are plenty of MTA employees who are members of the museum. Just because you are an employee who can attend events for free is not a good reason to not be a member of the museum if you support its work. And you certainly have no place criticizing the wishes and desires of those who do pay to be members. |
