Back in the day when I went to college, seniors got to register for classes first, followed by juniors and so on. Some majors even gave students in that major pre-registration privileges. You could not register before your time yet everyone knew the schedule. It made no difference if we knew when the pre-registration period opened, we simply could not register before our scheduled date.So what difference does it really make if everyone knows the Transit Museum schedule? Members still get first dibs on tickets. Any non members calling will be told to call back in a week or two when public reservations are being taken. It isn't as if you are competing for reserved seating.... The first five callers do not get the railfan window :) |
