I see kids all the time on the system that just light up when they see a railroad employee. There are many pics of me out there posing with little kids and I'm not even a crew member. I can just imagine the attention they get. I'll never forget an NJT C/R on a Pascack Valley train I worked who said to me that when he puts on his C/R uniform he feels like a rockstar. I dunno this kind of pride by the employees and acknowledgement by the pax makes me think us employees are more than nobodies. |
