I don't belive a word of it myself (and I have a few credentials). If you are obsessively interested in football, getting hold of money, appearance, clothes, or babies, then you are 'normal'. If you are interested in things that other people are not interested in then you are threatening, and if you are unfortunate enough to bump into a psychologist who finds this threatening, then they will try to come up with a new disorder that will get them fame and fortune.Every human on this planet has aspects about them that make them obsessive and can make them tedious and irritating to other people, we just differ in our specialist interests. |
