My father was THE Railroad man...while I am a spectator. It's amazing how a simple suggestion,can "feel like" a win or lose situation. Either you Do it the way I do it,and so many Other PROFESSIONAL RAILROAD FOLKS, or you aren't Really a train buff. While I can understand the desire to establish some sort of content control,to a Less aware,less ridgid individual...it would seem as if You are belittling the average buff.. being Bully in some sort of way... I mean ,if someone told you that today was Tuesday..and you didn't believe them...so that person tells you Because of your nonbeliever status you can never see Tuesday again... wouldn't you find That Ridiculous? Does it Matter if the Non railroad people don't use RAIL ROAD DIRECTIONAL TERMS... NO..it doesn't really..as long as The IDEA of what they are referring to is clear. Gonna kick us out of the club cause we ain't real railfans? |
