I know nothing about TMNY. But I figured if they're a non-profit there are public records about them.

Guidestar.org makes non-profit Form 990s available. TMNY's employee identification number is 11-6047858. But they haven't filed a Form 990 since 2009 for some reason. Huh?

In 2009, here are their stats:

$31,500 in revenue (18K contributions, 2,400 in dues, 3,400 in program revenues, 7K other)
$56,000 in expenses, including $19,600 in salary for Steve Ladin, Administrator. No one else, including the President, received any pay.
$213,000 in assets, including $148,500 in investments.

The absence of filings since 2009 is very odd, to say the least. It's even more questionable if income increased. And if income hasn't increased, then the whole place is definitely running on a very thin shoestring.
