I wonder if it will revert to the same pattern as before, B express and Q local. I used Newkirk when the express was running, but have almost completely abandoned it with only the local, using Cortelyou instead. Cortelyou Road was already picking up a bit with new restaurants and some good stores and I much prefer it to Newkirk Plaza, but not so much that I'll wait for the Q if I'm on the B. I always went to Newkirk on the way into Manhattan as I would take whichever came first.
