What they are doing is NOT what they were elected for.The said they would balance the budget (balance meaning cuts where possible, and increased revenue...i.e.TAXES where necessary as well) and to CREATE JOBS. They are doing NEITHER. |

In November, there was a ballot proposition to have a position of Lieutenant Governor in the State of Arizona (it would have replaced the current position of Secretary of State). The reason it was on the ballot was to prevent situations occurring like when Janet Napolitano (a Democrat) resigned and the new governor ended up being Jan Brewer (a Republican). The Lieutenant Governor and Governor would've had to have been from the same party. Well, anyways, that proposition failed and Arizona doesn't have a Lt. Guv. |

When life begins, for the purpose of discussing US abortion law, is the point of fetal viability. To change this benchmark is to go against the 1st Amendment, which is intended (read the Federalist papers) to permit freedom *from* religion as well. That has been established by Roe, and is in concurrence with numerous state laws that preceded the decision. Everyone else will have to live with that. The legal designation does not mean that anyone has to change religious thought, if one is adhering to a religious view of the issue they probably won't seek an abortion to begin with. |

That's not necessarily true, but the waiting lists are long for white babies. Unfortunately, sadly, or whatever you want to fill in here, but white babies are harder to come by for adoption than black babies. Last I checked I think there was about 7 times more scarcity of white babies than black babies. |

It was the most popular meme at Young & Rubicam when I was there, BBD&O beat that brand plenty too. The old television rules stated that you could not name a competitive brand in an advertisement, but you could at least use a prop that resembled the brand, but not too closely. Back then you weren't allowed to use cement blocks or intestinal tract depictions either which made our job pretty difficult. :) |
