You've shown that you tend to notice the good things about conservatives and the bad with liberals.

Personally I haven't noticed a huge difference and I probably wouldn't unless I was trying to look for it and even then it would be difficult. My guess would be that in my experience they are more or less the same except that the conservatives that I know go to church more often so probably donate more and more often.

Oddly, my family members who donate all the time, don't go to church.

Technically, a church donation should not be considered charity, but whatever.

I'll bet groups that raise money for the widows of fallen police officers target conservatives, while those international "feed the children" groups target libs.

Have you noticed all those tv ads and click ads for abused animals? They're everywhere this year. I wonder who gives to those groups?

A sampling is just a sample. It doesn't prove beyond the shadow of doubt that EVERYONE is like said sample.

Face it, you can't prove it. There will be anecdotal evidence, sure, and claims made but when the sun goes down you can't prove beyond the pale that conservatives are more generous than liberals are.

Granted the more "liberal" a place is, the more litter seems to be around, as well as graffiti, etc....but that is probably in no means scientific.

I don't know, isn't "real America" the part of the country that disposed of their old vehicles and appliances in the back yard?

When you google "Liberals more............." it fills in "intelligent than conservatives.

OK, this is funny. I just tried it but mistakenly put "are" instead of "more."

We used to have kids that weren't entitled to use the school passes (we didnt have metrocards, just passes, this was still int he days of tokens), but they didn't have them because they lived too close to the school. But they snuck in anyway. back in the late 80's, the token clerks barely even looked up when you flashed the pass....you just walked pass the token booth, opened the old exit slam gates, flashed your pass in the air, and walked in.... Most of the time the clerk didn't even look up.

Correct, I am not a "liberal" and never was, but I was never a "right winger" either. I did support Clinton (for the most part), and did vote for him, although not in 1992 as mentioned, but in 1996. I also had a hard time in 1988, and "almost" voted for Dukakis.
I am not really a right winger either (REALLY), but I do agree that the current Democratic party has moved to far left for me. I do identify just right of center, but the Democratic party has moved too far left. That said, I am not thrilled with the Republican party either, as they moved too far right, but what are people just left of center or just right of center to do when you have what the current Democratic party gives us, and the current Republican party gives us...it's a lesser of two evils in my opinion, and since I do identify right of center, I don't have much choice but to vote for the Republican in some of these circumstances, as the Democrats are often way too far left.
This dilemma is mostly on the bigger campaigns....I have no problem with pulling Democratic for many of my local politicians, etc.
