Right-wingers are known for their knee-jerk opposition to government policies that don't directly benefit them regardless of the overall impact on society.I actually saw a post on another forum that said "The Health Care Bill does nothing for me, so I'm against it." Wow! It may or may not be bad policy, which is worthy of debate, but to go around evaluating all laws on that basis! |
