We used to have kids that weren't entitled to use the school passes (we didnt have metrocards, just passes, this was still int he days of tokens), but they didn't have them because they lived too close to the school. But they snuck in anyway. back in the late 80's, the token clerks barely even looked up when you flashed the pass....you just walked pass the token booth, opened the old exit slam gates, flashed your pass in the air, and walked in.... Most of the time the clerk didn't even look up. |
