Chris Christie adamantly refuted Donald Trump's claims that "thousands" of people cheered in New Jersey after the 9/11 attacks -- saying today that it "didn't happen." The remarks came after Christie was criticized last week for not strongly condemning Trump’s claims. “It didn’t happen and the fact is, people can say anything, but the facts are the facts, and that didn’t happen in New Jersey that day and hasn’t happened since,” Christie told reporters today at a campaign stop in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. |

However, we're being informed by our illustrious media that there's Mexicans pooking out of every cubbyhole, ready to pounce on people's pets and by at least being able to identify them should assuage those fears somewhat.Our immigration policies are truly a mess, and there's a sector of it that NEVER gets talked about, the grabbing of what legitimate visas there are by overseas outsourcers in large quantities, making it impossible for legitimate potential future citizens to even get a crack at the visa and doing it legally. Blaming those who sneak in when the issue is the way government is wired is a bit disingenuous and thus my satirical reply here. |

As I've said before, I'm not in the "round them up" camp, and I understand why they come, but the status quo isn't workable or realistic, and the arguments for their labour reek of the same arguments given by slaveholders for keeping slavery. If we're going to have immigrants come, they should ideally be permanent additions that can add skills. We don't need further increases in unskilled labour given the high unemployment and depressed wages for unskilled work in the States, and if that means we have to move poultry plants and fruit production to Mexico if firms here aren't willing to pay wages in the US, then so be it as the long-term costs would still be cheaper. *Given that Canada is nowhere near as tolerant as illegal immigration, why are we in the States? We've let the media debate conflate both groups together, and there seems to be a weird sense that Hispanics feel entitled to some right to magically show up as they please. OTOH, when Haitians show up in the sea, we're sent back, and nobody seems to give a damn... |

You are generally able to find the punks who buy the minimum and other losers as they have valid drivers licenses with their current (or last known address). Then the insurance company, after they've paid your uninsured or under-insured claim, sets up payment plans with those people or sends them to collections. Any money recovered allows you to have a lower insurance rate than it otherwise would be.Unfortunately, as the insurance companies aren't able to locate these illegals, there's really no chance at recovering a penny from them. Hence the impact on everyone's insurance premium. |
