The speed limit on the highways in NY are ridiculously low and unrealistic. For example, the LI Expressway, Sunrise Highway and many other roads are at 55, 50 or various other unrealistic speed limits, which virtually no one goes. Everyone is going at least 65, which is a realistic speed limit for those roads. If they want to enforce speeding, with cameras, they will basically giving virtually every car outside of rush hour, a ticket for speeding.
