There are plenty of Highways in NYC that can have a 65MPH speed limit being that the speed of traffic is 70MPH anyway.I was going to list all of those roadways but it's easier to list the ones that could be left as is: FDR Drive - Currently at 45MPH (It's a Roller Coaster) Jackie Robinson Parkway - Currently at 45MPH (Should actually be increased to like 55MPH) Brooklyn Queens Expressway - Currently at 45MPH (a lot of lane drop in and outs, as well as sharp direction changes) The rest all have traffic flows of 70mph when they're not congested. |
