"Even then, the problem is that the teachers or the politicians prejudices are substituted for the parents own."That's a great reason NOT to ban all talk of all sexuality except heterosexuality. If you do, the ONLY opinion the kids are going to hear for the first, and defining, 14 years of their lives are the prejudices of their parents. And, while teachers' prejudice might shine through in their teachings, they'll still be subjected to guidelines from the school, whilst the parents' prejudices will be unbridled. And that seldom is a good thing. |
