Dewd ... your problems could ALL be solved if you were to get you a proper emulator and the machine image to run that old G4 stuff.

PearPC isn't really usable. Sheepshaver is unstable and doesn't support Quickdraw or OS 9.1 and later. Running Snow Leopard in a virtual machine is cumbersome since the VM is never properly integrated with the host machine.

At the moment, having a G4 that can run my PowerPC-native stuff works better than any other solution I've found and that it can also boot into OS9 to run my old games is sort of a plus.

Though why can't Rosetta work in later versions of OSX if it's as open as you claim?

There ARE 68K VM's out there, yaknow...

Sorry, the stuff I use is a bit later than 68K.

As far as the tinfoil goes, the ONLY way anybody's going to get anything out of our stuff in the past two years, they're going to have to beat the owner of the phone to give up their passcode, their Apple ID, their password (and if they went for two factor authentication) the "security code that just beeped on ANOTHER "trusted device" in order to get at anything.

And is this a contract offer from Apple? If I take you at your word, what compensation will Apple give me if the devices don't live up to the hype?
