Gaza had the chance to put itself on a path to economic prosperity starting in 2005 when Israel withdrew all its soldiers and citizens from the territory. Hamas took it over. Since then, Gaza "defends itself" by shooting rockets indiscriminately at civilian population centers in Israel, which is a WAR CRIME. Israel has no plans to resettle the Gaza Strip.

Israel is NOT the aggressor and would like very much to live in peace with its Arab neighbors. When Israel's Arab neighbors recognize that Israel is here to stay and also move to live in peace next to Israel, there will be peace. If you truly oppose all wars, as you claim, you would side with those promoting peace, not those promoting war, violence, and bloodshed.
