If he weren't a politician then I might agree, but his religious revelation seems to have coincided with his political aspirations. I think that there are lots of American politicians that are much less religious than they claim when running for office. Or they practice a form of a religion that fits into their politics, like ignoring the more conservative bits. Or sometimes overemphasizing them. |
