It's both sides. Many on the right and middle prefer a religious or semi-religious Christian. Many on the left and middle would prefer an atheist over a somewhat religious Christian and would oppose anyone strongly Christian. Liberals can ignore Obama's religion (or lack thereof) but would they ignore Tim Tebow's if he ever ran for office? |
