Except for the personal digs at me, I don't disagree with you; you make a lot of valid points.But, I don't agree with you either. For any service proposal, we must to know ALL of the positive impacts and ALL of the negative impacts in order to determine the correct actions to take. But, I'm still skeptical. Usually, NYCT's service planners refuse to negotiate with communities when their ideas meet opposition. And, therefore, present their ideas on a take-it-or-leave-it basis. Which is why we New Yorkers have to keep up the pressure during the last Open House, and eventual public hearing, in order for the service planners to continue refining this proposal to further minimize the negative impacts and further maximize the positive impacts. Which is not much to ask. |
