The service lane not being usable for through traffic is not absurd. It is real since every time a car needs to get in and out of a parking spot or make a right turn, cars behind must slow down or stop causing them to miss the synchronized signal.That applies to the rightmost through lane on any city street, pretty much. Are all those lanes also "not usable for through traffic"? |
