And now we're all suffering for it. The Rockaway Line would have cost much less and would have made a lot more sense.In addition to the NIMBYs, there were many transportation groups fighting long and hard for the Rockaway Line instead of AirTrain. AirTrain only benefits people coming from the Island and improves circulation within the Airport which no one was opposing. |
