Now that I have your full attention...
That car is actually Bombardier R-62A Car #2079 (IIRC). The face of this car has been modified for the upcoming film, The Taking of the Pelham 1-2-3. The interior has been modified as well to resemble a R142 Series Car.
Why take a perfectly good R-62A and turn it into a R-142 you ask while there is over 1,000 R-142s running around? Well for those of you who seen the ORIGINAL Pelham movie, you remember that the front car was detached from the rest of the train. You can not readily detach the first car of the current R-142 class cars. So this car was made to run (not run in a sense mechanically, but to be "dragged/pushed") with a 5-car R-142 set as a "dummy" R-142 that will join it for that scene where they seperate the first car from the rest of the train.
I can't wait to see this flick, if they are going through all this for this movie, I'm hoping it doesn't dissappoint.
Regards,
T.L.
