Wow, that's pretty incredible! Good catch. For a sec there I thought those were actually photoshopped! :)

IMO, I think this R62A would most likely end up like the R22 Money Train car 51010. It really looks like the crews (I'm assuming CIY did it since they also worked on the R22 car) painstakingly did a lot of work to change her into an R142. And besides, I don't think they'll just spend lots of money just changing the car back to a R62A before scrapping it a few years later.
