I wonder why the LIRR didn't cut it back at Inwood for, to compete with the (A)? Was there no other choice? I ask this because of the preference of the (A) and the nearby N31/N32 bus routes, along with the low usage of the stations (then again, they could have been well used stations until recently), and the LIRR is really meant to serve Nassau/Suffolk.
