A couple of weeks ago I was in the 6th Ave./34th St. PATH/Subway station looking for the entrance to the passageway from that end. The door that I suspect leads to the passageway was unlocked and open but unfortunately the workers who were entering and leaving wouldn't allow me to go inside and take pictures (I tried asking nicely!)

The passageway interests me because I used to use it from 1970-1978 when I worked near Madison Square Park and walked to Penn Station. I could swear that I used to exit the passageway on 32nd St. not 33rd St. (just to the east of where Sbarro's is now). Perhaps I used a different corridor to exit.
