Folks complained even before demolition started, but all to no avail. The whole point of this thread should be, "Don`t tear down stuff until the new service/Subway is built." The Culver, Mrytle Ave, 3rd Ave.(Man&Bx) are prime examples. Never demolish infrastruture. It is too hard to get poltical sanctions, funding, environmental clearance etc. for replacement. Will we ever learn.....
