Isolating a car (door wise) is a common practice these days especially with kids kicking out windows..I had two other than head end operations mainline done by me in my career... One when the group box went up in a blaze of glory in my A Div days (still on probation) at Hunterspoint whole train died 22 cars Motor Instructor Torres Flagged me to the Yard... The other Time in the B Div with a Slant40 two head out cars just lost power at Fordham Rd.. I had to totally isolate the cars from the train set(My back still screams from them damn portions). The CR flagged me to BDPK that was kinda cool... No RCI no TSS assisted it was just us to we forgot to go Train to train on the radio so they heard us down there at RCC they was actually impressed.. |
