M/I Reed who taught the R10 cars at Pitkin learned me the cutting key can save your back in a pinch. We had to pull back the portions during practical but after the smoke was clear locking back the dog after throwing the key prevented the portions from advancing before recharging. I also learned you can use a cutting key in place of a reverser inside the master controller drum. Everything from pulling the DC1/DC2 B2 fuses and resetting the purple fluorescent lights on those single cars and other stuff not found in the R10 and up manual was there. |
