Purely Spartan at best..just like the IRT itself.
Too bad this came at the cost of a major shop and yard.
The shop is gone,but the yard is still there.. covered up by a towering housing complex... built on top of a huge deck built over the yard.
Similar establishments we're created over the Jerome Yard...the New platform over the Amtrak,New Jersey transit open cut on the west side.

While we are on the subject,why haven't the MTA built a station over in the Picking Yard...next to the development there?
It would be well used.
