re: it was supposed to coexist with the connection from Qns Blvd at Whitepot Jct.

If any of these connections had been built as only two tracked (Lib. Junct. 63rd Drive or Winfield) wouldn't it have meant a lengthy route through central Queens with more passenger volume; and, by the late 1950s, and '60s this would have increased (what has been for decades), the extremely heavy ridership on the Qns.Blvd. line especially passenger volume at Roosevelt Ave.?*

*I'm not implying at all that they shouldn't have been built. I'm just wondering what future decades would have held for ridership volume, and efficient operation of this line during rush hours.

Also, if there had been an LIRR connection to the IND, wouldn't some portion of the LIRR fleet need to have been built to IND-BMT dimensions? about 60 ft. long and 12 ft. high?

I don't know the MP-54 dimensions, & don't have them right now; would they be compatible and operable on the IND-BMT?
