I'm just wondering what future decades would have held for ridership volume, and efficient operation of this line during rush hours. Also, if there had been an LIRR connection to the IND, wouldn't some portion of the LIRR fleet need to have been built to IND-BMT dimensions? about 60 ft. long and 12 ft. high? I don't know the MP-54 dimensions, & don't have them right now; would they be compatible and operable on the IND-BMT? |
