This service had run southbound in the AM rush from 242nd Street to South Ferry bypassing 215th Street, 207th Street, 157th Street and 145th Street. The Manhattan Terminal is located at Second Avenue and 60th Street. The Roosevelt Island Terminal is located next to the north side of the Queensborough Bridge. Tuscarora Almanac – May 24, 1983 – The Book of First Runs Brooklyn Bridge New York City Transit Authority In commemoration of the Brooklyn Bridge Centennial a parade of historic buses operates from Cadman Plaza across the bridge. The fleet includes 3100, 4789, 7144, 9098 and 6259. All re-painted in their original liveries. That night invited guests rode three restored subway trains unto the Manhattan Bridge to witness the fire works display. These included the Lo-V’s, R-1/9’s and the BU’s.
