Thank you. Looking at Pics 1 and 2, the fare control area doesn't look as deteriorated as I'd have expected.
That was 1981, years later, it could only get worse being exposed to the elements.

I have seen pictures of R27/30s at that station in 1981, with weeds growing on the unused northbound (Sands St/Park Row, actually) trackway...so I know it was horrible. But this immediate area looks better than I'd have thought.

That wooden platform burned up, most possibly caused by arson. When the debris was removed, I remember see the original track, minus third rail that was not seen for many years.
