The walk from Broad to South Ferry is a pain, you have to walk a few blocks before coming within sight of the ferry terminal. You would also lose the free transfer to the 1. Bowling Green is at least closer, and an easier walk since the terminal is fairly visible. OTOH, the J provides a connection to Fulton St complex, FWIW, but so does the 4/5.Speaking of South Ferry, it looks like they repeated the mistake again and sealed up the connection between the old and new #1 stations. Bummer. |
