Far more take the LIRR to Penn Station and then double back on the E. The HPA/LIC transfer is best used by diesel riders on the Port Jefferson, Montauk and OB lines, since it means they only have to change trains once, not twice.

Is there still any electric service from RO or Huntington to HPA? I thought this was cut a couple of years ago.
