Mineola is a hub station. No surprise there. There arent many like it.

It's the only station with offices within walking distance, where some offices have limited parking, and crap highway access. For example, one of my coworkers residing in Central Islip bothers to make the commute via the railroad when she has a 9-5 shift. FWIW, Suffolk County residents that work in Nassau County are probably the ideal commuters in a situation like this.
