RIP. Those cars had character. Will never forget them on the QB lines in the early '70s - the "straw" seats, the yellow bulbs, the porcelain-covered grab poles and handles, the "whusk-whusk-whusk" of the large exposed fans, the "FSHHH" of the pneumatically-powered doors opening at each station, the classic mooing of the motors as the consist picked up speed. We'll never see the likes of them again.
