My parents referred to the Broadway BMT as "the other BMT". I had no problem with it. I also knew intuitively that Coney Island was their Holy Land.If headed to mid-Manhttan, my mother would say "honey , we are taking the Independent" (and the Q11 to get to it). That put a damper on everything. |
