A smart plan would be the Chrystie st lines Grand st station directly to the tunnels at Pell st..then build the Water st subway downtown..connect that to the Montague tunnel connection formally used by the Nassau st line into Bklyn. Either route the line to the BMT South..or take advantage of the designs left over from the LOWER MANHATTAN ACCESS STUDY and route the train directly to the LIRR tunnel under Atlantic Avenue to Jamaica...and the Airport. |
