CBTC installation begins on the Flushing Line

New service alert posters are up in cars on the (7) line. Work begins this weekend on the yard leads, prepping them for new equipment.

The first major G/O will be next weekend. No service between Queensboro Plaza and Times Square - 42 Street. One of the first steps will be building a new relay room at First Avenue interlocking for the new-tech signals. Everything proceeds from here.

Here's to a smooth transition over the next few years!
