Gas is caused by the havoc it reeks on the digestive system. Also, marketing it as if it were a soft drink is just plain wrong and should be stopped by the FDA. The way it is marketed fosters over consumption.

Many people don't like plain milk but have no problem using it with cereal or to make milk shakes or smoothies.

These people might as well switch to soy, almond, or rice milk instead.

I use soy milk, have for years, vanilla flavored thank you. Rice milk is cool. Almond milk nope, tried it, too almondy. Coconut milk is cool too. The only problem I have with any alternative to cow milk is the ridiculous cost. Usually about 4/5 dollars for a 1/2 gallon. I guess regular milk would cost as much but the price is held down by subsidies.

I pay about $3 a 1/2 gallon for rice milk at Walmart in Florida and about the same at Trader Joe's when I visit NY.

I'm thinking about using soy milk because it has protein. Now I'm curious to know how much it costs and will check tonight.

The verdict is in.

Flaxseed milk is awesome. It's a great alternative to milk. I hardly notice the difference. Can't say the same about soy milk in coffee.

I agree.

I didn't even intend to buy this 1/2 gallon of flaxseed milk. I went to Walmart and they were out of rice milk so I gave this a try because it said "Omega-3" on the label and figured it's worth a try.

When I got home I read "Creamy like milk" on the carton figured I'd try it with coffee. It worked for me.

Flavored? I've tried it a few times but prefer with milk. Now I'll use flaxseed milk.

If you go to Whole Foods, you might want to try Barramundi fish. It comes frozen in a bag with two separate vacuum packed fillets. It's meaty, not flaky like sole.

No, my home coffee is 8 o'clock with a dash of Bustelo. I used to drink it with cream but wouldn't finish it by the time I got to the site and so it would sit and the cream would go bad. This way there's nothing to go bad.

I'll try the Barramundi as I like a meaty fish, like tuna or sword. LOL they're calling catfish "Swai" now.

I stopped soda completely, I did drink diet for a while, as mentioned, but now don't really drink it at all. Occasionally I'll have a Coke at a diner or some other restaurant if I don't order an alcoholic beverage. I stopped drinking coffee around Christmas, and I feel better. I switched to tea, or just not having that morning drink. I know tea has caffeine too, but it was something about the coffee I just didn't feel good when drinking it. I rarely have it sometimes after a meal, but the morning cups I completely stopped. The other morning I had a cup for the first time in weeks, and I didn't even finish the cup, as I didn't feel good when drinking it.
In those four months, I really lost the taste for it. Good coffee I can drink black, and that's what I had with dinner a few weeks ago, and it was fine, but the crappy stuff most delis have, I just can't drink anymore.
I do though have about as much hot tea as I used to have coffee, especially green tea. Any tea, I can't put any milk in either, as that's putrid.

Yeah, I can somewhat agree with that. Coffee is better at places than it used to be, but still, I kinda lost the taste for it.
