I'm sure you never went to adult book stores or peep shows in Times Square but it was hard to not notice them where they were there. Kavanaugh is so Irish-Catholic that by the time he was a senior in high school heavy alcohol consumption was a big part of his life. Keg City Club. 100 Kegs or Bust. Blasey is so Irish-Catholic the first thing she said was she had a beer at a party at age 15. She was a bar star at a young age.

He got into a lot of fights, spent a few Friday and Saturday nights in the lockup, stole kegs of beer from others, He even belted a cop one night, abused the college's bail bond fund form the student fee. All the stupid SUNY college did was ban him from occupying the same dorm for the 2nd year. He was my roommates friend, hard to avoid. Because of their mishandling of such drunkenness, and he was not the only one by far, I swore at the time I would never contribute to my college's Alumni or Foundation, and 40 years later, I haven't.

Some Jewish people look very much like us for a reason.

I'm not worried about regulations. Trump is temporary. The next president can reverse any of Trump's reversals. I'm worried about legislation. What if the Court declares the National Environmental Policy Act of 1970 and the EPA unconstitutional, just like it has declared most of the Voting Rights Act of 1965 unconstitutional? If so, the country is screwed.

No one thought the Voting Rights Act of 1965 would be declared essentially unconstitutional before it happened either. There are dozens of law suits challenging EPA regulation. There will be more extreme claims filed now that Kavanaugh is on the Court.

This must have happened in the past: 4 justices want position A, 4 want position B, and the 9th wants something in the middle. In Heller, isn't it assumed that, while Scalia wrote the opinion, Kennedy made him restrict its scope drastically in order for him to agree to go along? So basically I'm saying I don't understand Roberts' Taney fear, as long as he is careful what he agrees to.

The Irish & Italian community that was the backbone of Woodside generations ago have moved out to different neighborhoods or cemetaries. Most bars nowadays in Woodside are spanish (espicially east of 58th st along Roosevelt Ave.) and cater to the local clientle which happen to be spanish (mostly Columbian & Peruvian) nowadays & are quite profitable. So in the interest of fair play, lets hear some bigoted, ignorant stereotyping of hispanic drinking habits. Be an equal opportunity offender.
