He got into a lot of fights, spent a few Friday and Saturday nights in the lockup, stole kegs of beer from others, He even belted a cop one night, abused the college's bail bond fund form the student fee. All the stupid SUNY college did was ban him from occupying the same dorm for the 2nd year. He was my roommates friend, hard to avoid. Because of their mishandling of such drunkenness, and he was not the only one by far, I swore at the time I would never contribute to my college's Alumni or Foundation, and 40 years later, I haven't. |
