Did you appear about the multiple homicides in Newark? Last weekend some guy was whacked something to do with a disagreement over Xbox. On Friday, some guy pulled up to a parked car in the South Ward, lowered the window, and blew away some guy sitting in the parked car. A couple hours ago, another guy got gunned down in the Lower Roseville section of Newark during a running gun battle in broad daylight. It has been overcast and cool up here - I have attempted time and again to educate you people that any direct correlation between the rising temperature and rising homicide rate in Newark and Camden and Paterson does not necessarily hold up no pun intended to scientific analysis. I go through Newark every week and that place is a war zone where people kill each other for any reason at any time. |

Like I said, it results in a "mixed metaphor" which is not ideal, but it's better than nothing, and if he actually knew what he was doing, it could even be possibly considered slightly clever. In actuality it was just a brute force "best thing I had available at the time" response which, though again not ideal, IMO got the job done. |
