Obviously BILLBKLYN is not the brightest bulb in the box, so he used what could incorrectly be called a mixed metaphor, but that doesn't change the fact that he obviously meant #2.Any sensible person would say that #1 is the only one that makes sense— "You say I live in a fantasy world, but here's a link which shows that you construct elaborate fantasy worlds to live in, which proves the accusation applies to you" is vaguely cogent, but "You say I live in a fantasy world, but here's a link which shows that you are a writer, which proves the accusation applies to you" is nonsense. I will concede that Bill is not the sharpest cheese in the pantry, so he may have intended the nonsensical option rather than the valid but unsound option, but that doesn't make it "obvious" that was his intent. Although frankly, whether Bill's statement proves he's a liar or an idiot is irrelevant at this point since he's already long since proven himself both. |
