I don't know Wheatley Heights. Sorry.I didn't expect you to since it's not high-crime enough for your tastes, although it's proof that not all black areas in Suffolk County are crime havens. North Amityville is almost all Hispanic. The local C-Town has a new canopy saying something like "La Bodega del Pueblo". Huntington Station is also strongly Hispanic. Amityville has lost a lot of it's black population. The ones still there live by my cousin near the old hospital by the Sunrise. According to City-Data, North Amityville is mostly black, and Huntington Station is mostly white, where are you getting your stats from? |
