I don't have a bias. I have said that there is crime beyond Brentwood.Admitting that Islip Airport had its fair share of crimes with people point lasers at planes doesn't count bro. As for Wyandanch, it just does not seem to have as many shootings and stabbings as nearby towns do. Stats may say it's dangerous, but I guess Newsday and Long Island Press simply neglect to report the stories, which is what I go by. I'm not sure about that, but you raised a good point and I'll take your word for it, you do hear far more about Nassau than Suffolk in the news anyway. N. Amityville is a huge barrio now. I looked at wikipedia 2000 stats. I'd like to see 2010. No way Hispanics are only 13% of N. Amityville population today. According to the 2010 Census, hispanics make up 29% of the population versus that 13% figure, but Blacks still make up 56% of the population. |
